For the last few months, I’ve been keeping myself in a bubble, I got a promotion at work, and I’m still not sure how I feel about it. I’ve worked for years trying to earn it, I deserve it; however, I’m still waiting for that moment to click, the thing that tells me I am where I am meant to be. I think my problem is that I like being the best, and right now I am just, not. I still have a long way to go to get there, and while I’m loving the challenge and I’m loving learning everything new; I just can’t wait to wake up and be there, to be the job.
I’ve recently been reading The Secret by Rhonda Byrne and I’m enjoying every word of it. The Law of attraction lifestyle has really changed my take on everything, I’m seeing things through different eyes, I’m achieving things I never thought I would…I’ve even been able to keep my room tidy…but that’s a whole other story…
Trying to stay positive is the main challenge, it can be very exhausting at times, because who doesn’t love a good cry…just me, oops…but you know what I mean, stick on Captain America, the First Avenger and let the tears drop as Bucky falls from the train…or maybe the Notebook, whatever floats you’re boat…still only me?!
However, putting it into practice is easy! You want something, well truly believe you’ll get it! It’s that simple. Woah, now don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying go home, lie on your bed and wait for the money, the happiness and the love of your life to come knocking on your door, it doesn’t work like that.
Law of attraction is about putting your mind in the driver’s seat, it’s about being positive and working with confident and an optimistic attitude, and by saying you’ll do this, it will become a fact, it will become your reality.
So, go, stop making excuses, stop thinking it will never be done, that we won’t make it through. Stop telling the world that you’ll fail, because that is all you’ll attract. Doom and gloom!
These few months to myself have really helped me clear my head. My Mama is finally in Scotland. I’m officially down here by myself, well…I still have my amazing housemates, if I didn’t have my gorgeous Princess and Prince I don’t think I would have been able to face this world alone with such a smile on my face, but they reminded me, that, 1) I’m not actually alone, I have them, 2) I have a house over my head, 3) a job, and 4) A bloody positive attitude to life. So nothing is going to hold me back, my Mama is a phone call away, and now I have an even bigger excuse to head to Scotland whenever I want, and trust me, I’ll take every opportunity to hit that road and get up there, not just to see my wonderful family, but that beautiful place I also call home.
Once again, My Royal Family joined me on my Scotland adventure, and you can check out my Vlog below and see everything we got up to.
I wish everyone a wonderful life.
